By far my favorite is assassin. I have no idea how people can consider it a "boring" class, since it is by far the fastest in the game. With an Assassin's Promise spike build, I zip through areas like FoW with ease. Not an easy class to play, but great for people who know a bit of strategy.

Assassin.
For some odd reason I like to play this profession. Shadow steps, skill chains...

My favorite is the mesmer followed by assassin, but I can never get into PvE teams as either.

So I picked warrior... because at least I can play that and have fun

I voted Assassin (they actually take above average skill, like the Mesmer), because my Assassin with his rather unique build was the first character I had to complete all three campaigns, the first to get Vabbian Armor (well, the parts without the blades, because they actually look good), the first to get a Grandmaster Cartographer Title, etc. He's just a lot of fun to play, and has gotten a lot of attention from me. I'm also very fond of my Elementalist, my Mesmer, and my Ranger... but I do have at least one character of every class and have played through at least one but usually more than one campaign with them... and the only ones I really dislike are the Warrior and now that Necromancer (since they are at so much of a disadvantage next to every other class thanks to recent nerfs).

Ritualists.

They have skills that cannot be removed (weapon spells) also spirits are advantage if you know where to put them and when, and they are so versatile in pvp and can also solo in pve.

It's a close one between my monk and my ritualist... I enjoy playing support classes far more than offensive ones.
My ritualist wins, though, because people don't shout at her when they die

Mesmer. Played mine since the beginning more or less, never had as much with any other class. :-)

Mesmer.

It's what I have the most fun with. I love the style, inventiveness and challenge of the class, and really hope to see an incarnation of them in GW2.

YEAH! Warrior all the way. Maybe because they're the most realistic ones. Yes they're fat, but do they have magic? No.

P.S. It seems all the "cool kids" or "hard core" gamers play primarily core professions. How often do you see a monk with KoaBD compared to a RT with KoaBD?

Please don't flame, this is observations.

1st - Ele - Damage spam is king. If you are double attuned, you can pump damage like nothing.

2nd - Necro - Or was, until the SR nurf. Seriously - 5 seconds? Come on.

3rd - Warrior - Yes, there isnt much like soloing Ghail and all the patrols you have to cream to get to him.

SS Necro and Domination Mesmer are my favorites. I like how some make fun of mesmers then I show them what a Mes can really do

My mesmer, its the one with the longest time on it, about 1500 hours now, and completed the protector and exploration on it first, most fun with shut down, and always a wierd new way to kill things,

yes they have a downside, they aren't accepted into groups so much, and a bad build is a total disaster.

But I enjoy the hard work and the constanty play on builds, a lot of the other classes i find are too easy, not enough work hit a few butons repetively is not fun for me, and up close fighting it too stressful, i always appreceated the ability to stand back fromt he fight throw in a few hits or interupts and when it goes wrong have the ability to run away!

I like my sin.
Warriors need some support from blood thirsty daggers every once in awhile!

Ritualist

They are able to fill so many different roles. The raw healing is better than the standard monk, class support is excellent, and they can kill things in a myriad of ways.
